About the Design team at Gorgias
Currently, Gorgias Design team has 6 designers and we're excited to welcome 3 more soon. Our designers are based in various time zones, including Paris, New York, LA, and the UK. While each designer primarily focuses on their respective product team, closely collaborating with PMs and engineers, we also make sure to prioritize a strong connection within the Design team as a whole.
We have regular meetings such as Design Ops Weekly and Design Critiques, and we're continuously experimenting with new methods of asynchronous collaboration. This helps us to ensure consistency in our work and to foster mutual support and mentorship among all team members.
About the Platform tribe
Being a member of a wider design team, your primary focus will be dedicated to the Platform tribe. It is a fundamental group that plays an important role in enabling the rest of the product team to develop exceptional features. The team is composed of multiple squads, and we focus on projects related to in-product analytics, billing, product-led growth, and account management. Moreover, we are responsible for maintaining an in-product app store with over 100 apps and integrations, including Shopify, Instagram and WhatsApp.
As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every stage of the product building lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to prototyping, validation, and impact measurement. Being a part of Gorgias means being part of a fast-paced and high-growth company. We value agility, concise execution, and precision. Honesty and candor are highly valued among our team, and we encourage open sharing and receiving of feedback to continuously improve both our products and operations.
