Senior 3D Artist

Your Responsibilities   

  • Create a variety of different types of 3D assets like characters, props, clothing, hard surface and environments that can range in specifications from AAA to Mobile game requirements, while balancing optimization for real-time rendering with a high level of visual fidelity. 
 
  • Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Leads, Clients, Art Coordinators, Concept Artists, Game Designers, Engineers, and Animators to develop 3D assets that maintain the visual style while ensuring they seamlessly fit into the required games or apps. 
 
  • Handle 3D projects by setting the bar for quality and managing a team of 3D artists by ensuring the team's artistic output aligns with the game's overall aesthetics as well as performance targets. 
 
  • Set up workflows for 3D art production while keeping up with industry best practices. Setup quality checks to ensure all the 3D assets meet all required specifications. 
 
  • Work with the Art Director to help provide guidance, mentorship and feedback to other artists, helping them develop their skills and grow. 
 
  • Figure out new tools and game engines workflows for creating assets and environment for any type of game when needed. 
 
  • Analyse new project requirements and give timelines with detailed breakdowns. 
 
  • Explain and document workflows 

Skills & Experience We are Looking For 

  •    Proven experience as a Senior/Lead 3D artist with at least 5 years of experience in the gaming/animation industry creating 3D assets. /animation industry creating 3D assets.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience in guiding a team of artists of all levels, showcasing experience in upholding high-quality standards in projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Have a strong command of the English language. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for figuring out the best workflows and improving on them. 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your 3D modeling and texturing skills, highlighting your ability to create characters, props and environments while masterfully employing texturing, organic and hard surface techniques. 
  • Have hands on experience creating realistic, stylized, hand-painted and cartoonish assets
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software's such as ZBrush, Maya/Max/Blender, Substance Painter and Photoshop is a must. 
  • Have a deep passion for games and can stay up to date with latest industry trends and tools



    BONUS IF YOU 
  • Are proficient with workflows using tools like Marvelous Designer, Substance Designer, Mari, 3D Coat and Arnold render 
  • Are skilled in realistic hair and fur workflows 
  • Are excellent at lighting and rendering 
  • Have decent technical art knowledge in Unity or Unreal engine
