PreMaster Program - User Experience Design

Job Description

With your commitment to user experience (UX), you make a significant contribution to our business success.

  • You are involved in improving the UX and are actively involved in the further development of systems and processes
  • You will work independently on the visual design of graphic prototypes, the redesign of machine HMIs and many other topics with a design focus
  • To strengthen customer focus, you will be involved in user research, prototyping and testing
  • You support the further development of the style guide and icon design for HMIs and other GUIs
  • You will actively participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of methods of the human-centered design process
  • You work closely with the development, product management and service departments. You will also support the communication of project results

 

Qualifications

  • Completed bachelor's degree in design thinking, graphical or industrial design, information, interface or interaction design, communication design, media informatics, or a comparable course of study
  • Knowledge in the areas of visual design, usability, user experience and design thinking, as well as human-centered design processes as well as methods and tools from design thinking, such as: B. Gestalt laws, paper prototyping, or wireframes
  • Willingness to travel on business as part of projects
  • A keen eye for successful graphic design and expertise in using common design tools, for example Adobe Suite, Balsamiq
  • Very good knowledge of German (C1) and very good knowledge of English (C1)
  • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills paired with process orientation
  • Very good communication and team skills, as well as a high level of motivation and initiative to independently implement ideas and (new) learning, resilience and assertiveness

 

Additional Information

Start:  from March 2024 or by arrangement
Duration:  12 months

The PreMaster program is a two-stage qualification program for committed Bachelor graduates who aim to complete a Master's degree. After completing your bachelor's degree, the first phase offers up to 12 months of practical experience to get to know the technical and business contexts. The second phase includes the master's degree and includes further events and seminars as well as personal support from a mentor on the way to successful completion.
