About the Role:

As a Product Designer at Bookee, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and design of our products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to translate complex problems into elegant and effective design solutions. This role is ideal for a designer looking to build upon their existing experience and take their career to the next level in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

• Design Excellence: Collaborate with multifunctional teams to deliver exceptional design solutions that align with our product vision and user needs.
• Prototyping and Visualization: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visually stunning designs, leveraging our UI framework, to address challenging UX issues.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems that promote simplicity and elegance in user interactions.
• Communication: Present your design work in various formats and levels of fidelity throughout the design process, effectively conveying design rationale and solutions.
• Feedback Loop: Actively seek and provide constructive feedback to continually elevate the quality of our design output.

What you'll bring:

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a product designer. Demonstrated experience in designing user interfaces and experiences for B2B SaaS products (preferred).
• Proficiency in Design Tools: Strong proficiency in design tools, with a willingness to adapt and learn new ones. Familiarity with Figma is a plus.
• Prototyping Skills: Proficient in creating interactive prototypes that bring design concepts to life.
• Multi-Platform Experience: Experience designing for Android, iOS, and web platforms, with knowledge of mobile and web design patterns.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritise tasks, and facilitate team discussions to drive decisions.
• User-Centred Design: Deep understanding and application of user-centred design principles and methods.
• Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
• Articulation: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions and rationale.
• Educational Background: A degree in HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing high-quality UI and UX work, demonstrating your design thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Data-Informed Design: Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions, align with marketplace needs, and meet business objectives.
• Clear Ideation: Examples of clear and effective communication of ideas, both in written and visual formats, showcasing how your designs address user problems and enhance their experiences.
• Product Delivery: A track record of contributing to successful design launches, including making crucial trade-off decisions at each stage of the release cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with the latest tools to build design and a strong desire to learn new ones. Figma expertise encouraged.
• Effective prototyping skills
• Experience building products for Android, iOS, and web. Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns
• Fast-paced with the ability to prioritize projects concurrently. Ability to facilitate team discussions and help drive toward decisions
