We are seeking a Visual Engineer (UI)-II to help accelerate our industry leading Driver Safety/Fleet Management Software.  Our products manage massive amounts of data collected from over 600,000 vehicles worldwide.  We use data and video to derive intelligent insights using Video Telematics, Machine Vision and AI for all devices and vehicles on the network.   As a Visual Engineer II, you will be working on projects that distill complex data into easily consumable and visually compelling experiences. Our aesthetic is approachable simplicity with deep depths in data and insights. We work hand in hand with motivated engineers to bring your designs to life.

• Rapidly prototype, deploy, and test new solutions within our markets   

• Provide state-of-the-art user experiences across mobile and desktop solutions.  

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct UI and Visual QA Processes to ensure that all customer facing product work adheres to rigid guidelines set in the design system 

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off including: design of new UI patterns, creation and maintenance of visual elements in our Figma Library, micro-animations for better user engagement, responsive design for multiple form factors 

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas 

• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to cross functional teams 

• Collaborate with engineering and UX designers to resolve production or design challenges as they arise 

Must have:   

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia design, or a related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus. 

• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio 

• 5+ years of experience in visual design, creative design, or a related role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work. 

• High Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).. 

• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders. 

• Experienced in creating interface animations, screen color applications, typography and screen type setting 

• Experienced in responsive design, Agile development, and mobile best practices
