Purpose:

The role holder will conceptualize, design, and build a fit-for-purpose user journey and interfaces. The person must possess an intuitive mind to analyze and understand usage scenarios and approach design from the first principle.

Role & responsibilities

• Creating user centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback for websites and Chatbots.
• Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mock-ups
• Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
• Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
• Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
• Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
• The role include reviewing and simplifying code when needed. As a chatbot stakeholder, you may also help implement bots in their operations. You will often work with established AI platforms and deliver on best business planning and delivery

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors Degree and 4 years design experience OR Masters Degree and 3 years design experience OR 7 years design experience.
• Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web-based applications
• A strong design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to solve for business requirements and customer needs.
