Designwerk is a proudly independent full-service creative agency based in Hoxton. We are looking for an ambitious and talented new Junior Designer with a can-do attitude looking to grow along with the team. They will assist our design team continue to deliver great things.

With a portfolio of high-profile international accounts, you would be joining a hardworking, welcoming and close-knit team where you would have the opportunity to learn from experienced, passionate designers. Pulling together the best in class marketing materials across different mediums from print, digital to physical spaces and everything in between.

Your Responsibilities:

• Brand implementation (understanding the brand strategy and applying it to all areas of the work that comes in to the department)

• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards

• Responsibility for own work, ensuring consistency, accuracy and quality

• Interpreting the client's business needs and working with the team to propose a concept to suit their purpose

• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts

• Making minor amends to working projects across all collateral

• To carry out image searches and download from specific image libraries

• Be a part of a wider team that produces print, digital and social content

• The role will involve regular interaction with clients, as well as close collaboration with your creative colleagues, bringing a breadth of creativity and innovation to the team.

• Working in a highly compliant environment, you will provide a seamless service that surpasses client briefs, whilst ensuring the delivery of on-brand creative material

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deadlines.

Your Skillset:

• Demonstrable proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

• Used to providing a high level of customer service

• Some experience and knowledge of artworking

• Good understanding of typography

• Great attention to detail

• Team player mentality

• Experience working with large format graphics and working to scale

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Strong awareness of the latest design trends

• Strong command of written and spoken English

• Confidence using keyboard shortcuts

• Confidence in responding to design briefs

• Enthusiastic attitude to take on new challenges

Other Beneficial Skills:

• Animation, motion graphics, After Effects experience

• Knowledge of WordPress

• Social media savvy

• Language skills

• An interest in sport and leisure
