How you’ll make an impact:

As a Junior Designer in the Global Brand & Community team, you will drive differentiation and memorability for our community of Partners, Ecosystem, Investors and Xeros through custodianship of scalable brand systems.

In this role you will sit inside the HUB, Xero’s internal creative and production department which sits inside the wider Brand and Marketing function. You'll collaborate with our internal creative team of designers, writers, motion graphics artists, and producers as well as engaging external suppliers (including photographers).

What you'll do:

• Creative – You’ll be generating concepts that are expressed through print, digital channels or the event experiences we offer people. You’ll be comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to refine ideas and to communicate ideas to others
• Craft – You’ll be crafting visual identities and communications templates for the social and events teams. You’ll be creating great customer experiences through branding, events, and corporate communications
• Collaborate – You’ll work collaboratively across globally dispersed teams. You’ll have a role in maintaining and extending excellent relationships with Xero colleagues throughout the organisation
• Make us better – Contribute to improving the way we do things around here. Working closely with our senior designers and our Hub director, Global Brand & Community to drive Xero’s high creative standards. You will also continually develop your craft and keep up to date with ever evolving industry trends

What you'll bring with you:

• Confidence in bringing your ideas to life with Adobe Creative Cloud products (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
• Experience in brand and campaign design in both print and digital formats
• Experience in a design/advertising agency or in-house creative team
• Knowledge of Keynote, AEM, Figma and Canva
• A great work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to collaborate and excel in a team environment with producers, copywriters, designers, and internal clients
• A creative, innovative and results focused approach
• An excellent communicator and problem solver who can take a logical, analytical and user-focused approach
