ROLE

As a Junior Designer, you’ll be at the forefront of owning our internal brand, ensuring every collateral piece reflects our ethos with precision and flair. While championing our brand internally, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute your creative touch to engaging client projects, where innovation meets strategic vision. You will demonstrate creativity in all touchpoints, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to feedback, time and deadlines

You will be responsible for

• Being a brand guardian for Stonehaven and creating presentations, reports and marketing materials for our brand
• Working closely with and supporting the team in taking designs from conception to completion
• Collaborating with the team to gather feedback and make revisions to design deliverables
• Contributing to the creation of visually compelling graphics and layouts that effectively communicate client messaging and brand identity
• Supporting business development efforts by assisting in the creation of design materials for client proposals and presentations
• Communicating openly and transparently with team members, sharing ideas, insights, and feedback

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 2 years experience either in-house or within a studio, working on print and digital projects up to artwork
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with a strong foundation in design principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and progress updates within a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in design deliverables.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and professional development, with a desire to grow and expand skills within the design field.
• Demonstrated ability to take direction and feedback from senior team members, incorporating suggestions to improve design solutions.
• A passion for creativity, innovation, and problem-solving, with a willingness to contribute ideas and insights to enhance project outcomes.
• Ability to find creative solutions and bring fresh perspectives to various projects, including internal brand work, demonstrating enthusiasm and innovation in every task.
• Flexibility and time management skills to work across multiple projects at the same time
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics, demonstrated through a portfolio showcasing creative projects and design work
