Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled UX/UI Designer to join our product team on a three month contract basis, with the potential for a full-time role based on performance. This position requires a deep understanding of user experience design, especially in a B2B context, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture or related fields, bringing a keen eye for detail and a self-managing work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product management team to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance the usability.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in a B2B environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and the ability to solve usability issues.
• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up to date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows.
• Effective communication skills required to work remotely and collaborate with a distributed team.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Additional Qualifications:

• A background in architecture or related fields is highly preferred.
• Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus.

Contract Terms:

• 3-month contract with the potential for conversion to full-time based on performance evaluation.
• Remote work setup with mandatory on-site meetings once a month.
