Environment Artist - Skate (Contract)

As an Environment Artist reporting to the Associate World Director, you will:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality AAA assets, which could include hard surface and organic props or buildings.

  • Collaborate daily with the Art Director, Environment Director and Concept Team.

  • Work with the Environment Director and Technical Art team to establish toolsets and pipelines.

  • Work with our Technical Art team to ensure all assets are optimized for target platforms.

  • Ensure that all assets are consistent with defined visual style of the game.

 

 

Qualifications:

Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered but we do require previously shipped game experience. We encourage you to apply if you can meet most of the requirements and are comfortable opening a dialog to be considered.

  • 3+ Years Experience with a focus on Environment Art.

  • Experience at intermediate or senior level role on at least 1 shipped console/PC title.

  • High competency in 3D modeling, materials/surfacing software packages such as Maya, Zbrush and the Substance Suite.

  • Production experience with modern real-time game engines such as Unreal, Unity, CryEngine.

  • Excellent knowledge of how to manage and create content for games

  • A degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Visual Design, or related diploma or certificate.

  • Experience with Project Management tools (Shotgrid, Jira, Confluence).

  • Proficient in the creation of high-quality stylized, PBR-based, environment assets.
