In June-July 2022, I worked with an Indian fashion designer named Krishna Mehta. I worked on the festive collection 2022, while being at the label.
In this collection , I was responsible for making the stencils of the embroideries placed on the neck, cuffs, hems of the kurtas. I managed the entire production unit while this collection was in the making. I was also the connecting link between the vendors, the embroiders [outsourced], the head designer, the main person ie Krishna Mehta.
I played a crucial role in deciding the colour ways, the embroideries, the theme, the printing and surface ornamentation of the collection. I learnt a lot with this collection and my time at Krishna Mehta, Mumbai.
